Lotus Petal Sr. Secondary School

Lotus Petal Sr. Secondary School is promoted by Lotus Petal Foundation, India, a non-profit organization founded in 2011 with the goal of providing equal opportunities for underprivileged children living in the urban slums of Gurugram, Haryana, India.

The school has state of the art infrastructure. The learning environment and pedagogy is specifically designed for underprivileged students. These features ensure that learning objectives are met and life skills are acquired.  Vocational skills training, gender sensitization, and mainstreaming into careers based on education or pursuing higher education is part of the school curriculum.

The school caters to age-appropriate education as well as fast-track education for out-of-school children.

The best infrastructure in Gurgaon

The campus will be 2,10,000 square feet. ft. with the best instructional facilities and cutting-edge infrastructure. It will have two school blocks with 81 digitally enabled classrooms, a block for kitchen and dining, and a block for skill development. Additionally, it will contain a STEAM lab, computer lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, and biology lab for the students. 

With a capacity to serve 10,000 meals daily, the kitchen and dining complex will provide the students with a healthy breakfast and lunch.

One building on campus is currently equipped with digitally enabled classrooms, a computer lab, and a STEAM lab and is ready for use. There are around 600 pupils registered in the school in classes from 2 to 8 with plans to expand to Class 12 soon. Once fully operational, Lotus Petal Sr. Secondary School will be able to accommodate over 10,000 students.
